OECD Education Statistics - online database
TOECD Education Statistics provides internationally comparable data on key aspects of education systems. It is from this data that the annual indicators found in Education at a Glance are derived. OECD Member countries co-operate to gather the information, to develop and apply common definitions and criteria for the quality control of the data, to verify the data and to provide the information necessary to interpret the submitted data.
The database covers: enrolments, graduates and new entrants by sex, age and level of education, teaching staff and expenditure, foreign students enroled, and population. Data are generally available from the late 1990s onwards and coverage is provided for all OECD countries and well as a number of non-OECD countries participating in the programme.
